Duane Lee Hoard, 73, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Garden Court Chateau Assisted Living. He was born August 6, 1945 in Port Orchard, WA to Russell and Idella (Ramsdell) Hoard. He graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1963. Duane is a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was an ordained minister. He also worked as a salesman; and for the underground uranium mines and the oil rigs in Douglas, Wyoming. Duane worked on the pipelines in Alaska. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and was a member of the Grand Rapids Wrestling Hall of Fame.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Duane is survived by his son, Christopher (Teresa) Hoard of Grand Rapids, MN; siblings, Larry Hoard of Bovey, MN, Lavern (Linda) Hoard of Cohasset, MN, Charlotte (Gale) Locke of Round Mountain, NV, Wanda (Bruce) Schear of Remer, MN, Alton (Robin) Hoard of Scottville, MI, Stanley Hoard of Cohasset, MN; two grandchildren, Tyler and Nathanael Hoard; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Andrews-Libbey Funeral Home & Cremation Services and continuing 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Community Bible Chapel, 125 5th St NW, Cohasset, MN 55721.
