Douglas A. Wittstruck, 57, of Grand Rapids, Minn., died on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Richfield Health Center in Richfield, Minn. Visitation: 12 until the 1pm funeral service on Friday October 7, 2011 in the Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids. Douglas was born in Grand Rapids to Audrey and Arnold Wittstruck. He graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1973. He drove taxi in San Antonio and St. Paul. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, pool, and darts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy in 1982 and his parents. Survivors include his significant other, Jenny Snook; son, Steven (Kristel) Wittstruck, Eagan, Minn.; daughter, Samantha Wittstruck (Eugene Schwab), Wadena, Minn.; grandson, Shane Wittstruck; granddaughter, Skylar Schwab; three sisters, Frances Wadlow, Middlebrook, Missouri, and Marlene Weikert and Carol Bruce, both of Foreston, Minn.; four brothers, Arnold "Butch" Wittstruck, Daniel Wittstruck and David Wittstruck, both of Grand Rapids, and Kevin Wittstruck of Washington.
