Douglas E. Gooselaw, 78, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 in his home. He was born August 4, 1939 in St. James, MN to Henry and Anne (Sigvoaldson) Gooselaw. After attending Rosemount High School he joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany. Douglas Married Carolann Zachow on May 24, 1968 in St. Paul, MN. He worked for Metro Transit as a Bus Driver until his retirement in 1994. They moved to Grand Rapids, MN in 2005. Douglas enjoyed working with his hands. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ellen Christensen. Douglas is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolann (Zachow) Gooselaw of Grand Rapids, MN; brother, James Gooselaw of Lakeville, MN; and a sister, Ruth Merrill of Burnsville, MN. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 with a visitation one hour prior to the service all at Andrews-Libbey Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
