Dorothy Mae Gould, 91 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday December 14, 2014 in Evergreen Terrace. She was born on July 18, 1923 in Nashwauk, MN to Fritz and Mabel Lofgren. Dorothy graduated from McGregor High School. She married Charles Gould in 1942 and after the war they lived in Warba, MN for many years. She was employed as a nurse's aide in Virginia, MN. Dorothy loved gardening and canned many of the vegetables grown. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sharon, brothers Leonard, John, Gilbert and a great granddaughter Megan. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 72 years Charles; sons Douglas (Karen) of Cohasset, David (Judy) of Cohasset; son-in-law Andrew Hagen of Coleraine; sisters Anna Broich of Vancouver, WA, Jean (Charles) Olson of Duluth, Joyce (Harold) Carlson of Bend, OR; grandchildren Gail (Jeff) Beckman, Theresa (Jon) Solberg, Steven (Stephanie) Hagen, Shelly Peterson, Jennella (Duane) Kilde, Stacey (Phillip) Hess and 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
