Dorothy Allien Myers, 95 of Grand Rapids, Mn., stepped peacefully into the arms of her savior Monday June l, 20l5 in Grand Village. She was born near Backus, Mn. on July 9, l9l9 to Benjamin and Lena Blair Bagley. Shortly after that they moved to Brandon, Iowa where she graduated from Brandon High School. Following that she attended business college in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dorothy was employed in the continuing medical education office at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for many years retiring in l981. Dorothy loved to cook, read and go fishing at Pughole Lake with osce. She especially enjoyed helping others; she loved animals. She was active in the prayer chain and served as a deaconess at the Alliance Church. She enjoyed Bible study. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Osce Dale Myers; Two brothers Leland and Virgil Bagley. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Mary (Harry) Corwin of Cohasset, Mn. and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10 AM followed by the 11 AM Services Tuesday June 9, 2015 at the Alliance Church in Grand Rapids, Mn. Burial will be in Itasca-Calvary Cemetery.
