Dorothea Arnold, 90 of Grand Rapids, passed away at Evergreen Terrace on February 27, 2010. Dorothea Arnold, 90 of Grand Rapids, passed away at Evergreen Terrace on February 27, 2010. Dorothea graduated from Michigan State University in 1941. She worked in the education library at Western Michigan University and then as executive Secretary to the Director of the Kalamazoo, Michigan Public Library. After retiring in 1970 she and her husband, Tom, moved to Wabana Lake. Survivors include her husband, Tom; daughter, Barbara Arnold of Deer River; son, Tom (Cheryl) Arnold of Swanville, MN; sister, Jen Harvey of El Paso, Texas; and nephew, David Harvey, of Grand Rapids. A private family service is planned.
