Denise Renee Moe Maimone, 39, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away March 24, 2010 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland. Denise Renee Moe Maimone, 39, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away March 24, 2010 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland. Denise was born in Duluth to Darrell and Dorothy Moe. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1989, attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduation from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 1999, Denise worked as a tax accountant. She was married to Russ Maimone in 2001. Denise was a former active member of Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids where she was a member of the choir and handbell choir. Denise was also a devoted pet owner. She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell, and brother, Curtis. Survivors include her husband, Russ; beloved daughters, Robyn and Breahna; mother, Dorothy, of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Pamela More, of Washington, DC, and Diane Moe, of Blaine, MN; and nephew, William Bucher. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31 in the Libbey Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, April 1 in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids.
