Delores Tupper, 81 of Cohasset, Minnesota passed away Monday August 26, 2013 at Maple Woods Assisted Living. Delores was born in Annandale, Minnesota to Ellis and Mayda Sweet. She lived in various places growing up and graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1949. She married Bevans Tupper in 1949. They lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for a number of years but lived most of their 52 years of marriage in the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area. After retirement they spent winters in Apache Junction, Arizona. In 2006 she married Mike Skelly. Delores was a secretary during her working years. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and made many baby afghans for her grandchildren. She was a member of the West Cohasset Chapel and also Grace Church in Mesa, Arizona. She was a wonderful Christian lady who loved the Lord. Delores was preceded in death by her husband Bevans in 2002; parents; an infant son, Terry; and a sister, Catherine Harthan. Delores is survived by Mike Skelly; two sons, Gary Tupper of Fairbanks and Larry (Connie) Tupper of Deer River, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Chad, Desirey, Joshua, Dustin, and Lisa; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat (Harold) LaFrenier of Bovey, Minnesota and Apache Junction; and one brother, Richard (Sue) Sweet of Ward, Arkansas.
