DeeDee Jean Sanderson, 56, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Thursday, Sept.6, 2018 at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born January 24, 1962 in Minneapolis, MN. She loved fishing her favorite spot at the cabin and never missed a Vikings game; her times with family and friends at cook outs she cherished and was considered a grill master. She worked at MDI until her health issues took over. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Smith. DeeDee is survived by Curt Sanderson, her best friend and soul mate. To the many joyous moments together over 35 years, my world will never be the same. Until we meet again my love. Also survived by three sisters, April Smith, Toni Mathison, Tina Shay all of Albert Lea, MN; extended family, Diane Lammon, Cheryl Schultz, Brian Sanderson and her favorite niece, Krista Lammon; her two cats, Miss Myne and Buddy Boo; and numerous nieces and nephews. No Services will be held per DeeDee's request. A Celebration of Life to follow.
