Dale E. Manson, age 77, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at his home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Dale Edward Manson was born April 24, 1949, in Willmar, Minnesota; the son of Earl H. and Violet Z. (Bidwell) Manson. Dale graduated from New London-Spicer High School in 1967 holding school records in baseball and basketball.

In 1967, Dale was married to Sue Allen and had two children, Eddy and Heidi. Later in his life, Dale was united in marriage to Gale D. (McGuire) Laughlin on January 21, 2010. They made their home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Throughout his life, Dale always was a hard worker who preferred active, physical labor. He was a member of "the 49ers" - International Union Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 49. His last job was a semi-truck driver who hauled sewer and water equipment from jobsite to jobsite.

Dale loved cars and going to car shows, fishing, deer hunting, snowmobiling, driving truck, and living in God's Country. If you knew Dale, you knew his signature saying, "Oh Well!"

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Violet Manson.

Dale will be deeply missed by his wife of 16 years, Gale D. Manson;son, Edward "Eddy" (Heidi); daughter, Heidi Quiram; grandchildren, Tommy, Kyle, Nicole and Cole; stepdaughter, Emily (Dustin) Perron; stepsons, James (Trista) Gilbert, Marty (Banny Allison) Laughlin and Anthony (Isaiah Schultz) Laughlin; step grandchildren; and great grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Bill) Kuperus, Bev Dresser, Gary (Mary) Manson, Chip (Karen) Manson, and Brian (Wendy) Manson; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Honoring Dale's wish, no formal funeral service will be held.
