Craig Westfield, 58, of Grand Rapids, Minn. died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Visitation: 5 to 7 Tuesday August 30 and 2 until the 3 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday August 31, 2011 in the Libbey Funeral Home. Craig was born in Grand Rapids to Russell and Jeanne Westfield. He graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1971 and served in the Army 1973 to 1975. He was united in marriage to Cindy on Feb. 1, 1980. Craig was a contractor and in 1982 he started Westfield Construction. He enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, curling and golf. Craig was preceded in death by his son, Gary in 1994, his parents, and an infant brother, Dale. Surviving family includes his wife, Cindy; daughter, Anne Westfield (Shaun Valentin) of Superior; one brother, Jeff (Loretto MacDonell) of Cohasset; one sister, Linda Westfield of Fridley; and many other relatives and friends.
