Craig B. Behning, 68, of Duluth, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with lung disease Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born October 4, 1949 in Duluth, MN to Walter and Donna (Olson) Behning. He graduated from Central High School in 1967. Craig worked for the DM&IR Railroad until his retirement. He was an avid sailor and billiard player. He also spent time remaking classic cars and attending car shows. He favorite past time was visiting with friends and telling jokes and funny stories from the past. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Amy Behning. Craig is survived by his children, Keely (Luciano) Battaglini, Derek Behning; brothers, Steve Behning, Paul Behning and Quentin Olson MN; sister, Mary Anne MacKay; girlfriend, JoAnn Nordgren, MN; and many other relatives and friends.
