Clifford "Sonny" Struble, age 91, of Grand Rapids, MN died Sunday, September 8, 2024, at his home surrounded by family.

Sonny was born in 1933 in Grand Rapids, MN to Oscar and Freda Struble and grew up on the family farm. Sonny and Darlyne Ryberg were united in marriage on August 31, 1952. In 1954, during the Korean Conflict, he was drafted into the United States Army. After his discharge, he returned to Minnesota and continued cattle farming. Sonny also spent time working at Mills Lumber Yard and drove trucks, even into retirement.

Being a farmer took the majority of Sonny's time and you could often find him tinkering on the farm, fixing, mending, or remodeling something. Sonny also enjoyed hunting.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darlyne; and son, Thomas.

He is survived by his daughter, Pam (Mark) Korte; sons, Rodney (LeAnn) Struble, Gary Struble; daughter-in-law, Debbie Gruder; grandchildren, Megan Korte, Lindsey Korte, Alex Korte, Andrea Kimbrough, Sondra Struble; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN followed by the 3:00 PM funeral service. Burial and military honors will be at Harris Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
