Clarence Bernardson, 88, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 in Evergreen Terrance, Grand Rapids, MN. He was born October 8, 1926 in Little Falls, MN to John and Sabina (Olson) Bernardson. He attended Little Falls High School and Humboldt Technical College. Clarence served in the US Navy as a Radarman Third Class and received the Purple Heart. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Carl, Lawrence and Harry Bernardson. Clarence is survived by his sons, John Bernardson of East Bethel, MN, Wayne (Debra) Bernardson of East Bethel, MN, David (Ellen) Bernardson of Oak Grove, MN, Robert (Rebecca) Bernardson of East Bethel, MN; daughters, Sandra Engstrand of North Richland Hills, TX, Patricia (Wayne) Nielsen of Milltown, WI; sisters, Eleanor DeNio of Little Falls, MN, Mary Ann Price of Hutchinson, MN; 5 grandchildren, Troy and Bryan Bernardson, Tami Beitz, Jennifer Engstrand and Michelle Elrod; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
