Charles Lowel Gould, 99, of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Grand Village, Grand Rapids, MN. He was born on January 8, 1916 to Charles and Florence (Tower) Gould in Leipold, MN. He attended the Leipold School south of Swan River, MN. Charles Married Dorothy Lofgren in 1942. He was a WWII Veteran having served in the Pacific Theatre. He worked as a Construction Superintendent for Davy McKee Building Schools to large taconite plants in Minnesota and in upper Michigan. Charles lived in the Warba area most of his life and had a hobby farm. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in 2014; parents; daughter, Sharon; great-granddaughter, Megan; brother, Lawrence; sisters, Bernice, Blanche, Hazel, Mildred, Esther, Bertha and Alice. Charles is survived by his sons, Douglas (Karen) of Cohasset, MN, David (Judy) of Cohasset, MN; son-in-law, Andrew Hagen of Coleraine, MN; brother, Glenn (Rose) Gould of Grand Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Gail (Jeff) Beckman, Teresa (Jon) Solberg, Steven (Stephanie) Hagen, Shelly Peterson, Jennella (Duane) Kilde, Stacey (Phillip) Hess; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 gr-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
