Caryn Leigh (Mayers) Polley, 66, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at Kylar Glen Hospice House, Grand Rapids, MN surrounded by her family. She was born February 19, 1951 in Grand Forks, ND to Donald and Lorene (Brevik) Mayers. She graduated from High School in Thompson, ND and graduated from College in Kansas. Caryn married John Polley on July 3, 1971 in Thompson, ND. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorene Mayers and a brother, Larry Mayers. Caryn is survived by her husband, John Polley of Grand Rapids, MN; sons, John Scott (Stacy) Polley of Warren, MN, Christopher (Erica) Polley of Hawley, MN; father, Donald Mayers, of Grand Forks, ND; brothers, Steven Mayers of Dickinson, ND, David Mayers of Buxton, ND, Daniel (Debe) Mayers of Thompson, ND; sisters, Cheryl Lynch of Grand Forks, ND, Cathy (Alvin) Leiss Dickinson, ND, Connie (Russ) Dreyer of Florida; three grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlin and Levi Polley; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
