Carolyn E. Hall, age 89, of Bigfork, MN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Carolyn was born at home to Otto and Esther (Schroeder) Glamm on November 19, 1934. She attended rural school for 4 years, then St. Clair, MN High School, where she graduated in 1952 as the Valedictorian. Carolyn was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John's Lutheran Church, St. Clair, MN. She married Curtis Hall on April 3, 1955.

The couple lived and worked at Automatic Electric in Mankato for a couple of years, while Curt attended Vo-tech school. Upon graduation, they moved to the Twin Cities, where their children, Cynthia and Craig, were born.

Carolyn worked part-time at various jobs, including Homeward Bound and Accessibility. Curt and Carolyn moved to their lake cabin in 1996. They spent many winters in Pharr, TX, where they made and enjoyed many friends from around the country.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis; parents; sister, Lorene Flemming and, brother, Donald Glamm. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (John) Costello; son, Craig (Cheryl) Hall; grandchildren, Jessica Greske, John Curtis Costello, Cailia Leonard, Calina Keating; five great grandchildren; and sister, Virgene Volkman.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at St. Luke's Evangelical Church, Grand Rapids, MN beginning at 1:00 PM and lasting until the 2:00 PM memorial service.
