BONITA "BONNIE" HANSEN, 76, of Cohasset, Minnesota passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Essentia Health-Miller Dwan Medical Center, Duluth, MN.

Bonnie was born in 1943 to Major Don Merrill and Elayne Beerbower in Grand Rapids, MN. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1962. She was united in marriage in 1966 to Norley Hansen. Bonnie and Norley were long-time residents of Cohasset, MN. Bonnie worked as a dental tech and being a devoted wife. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, house plants, flowers, feeding birds and animals, traveling, participating in church activities and was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and twin sister, Dawn Marie Beerbower.

Bonnie will be greatly missed by her husband, Norley; two daughters, Melanie (Mark) Olson of St. Michael, MN and Dawn (John) Monrean of International Falls, MN; two granddaughters, Maya and Hannah Monrean; and many friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Cohasset, MN followed by the 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service at the church. Pastor Mark Peske will officiate. Burial will be at the Wildwood Cemetery, Cohasset, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to the Don M. Beerbower Memorial Park, Hill City, MN and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Cohasset, MN
