Bette Jo (Lange) Hanson, 61, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 in Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, MN surrounded by her family. She was born July 30, 1953 in St. Cloud, MN to Robert and Maree (Johnson) Lange. She married Blake Hanson in 1973 and has been a resident of Grand Rapids ever since. Bette owned and operated the Sears store since 1998. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, camping and taking care of her family, especially her husband Blake. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lange. Bette is survived by her husband, Blake Hanson; son, Brandon (Sonja) Hanson of Grand Rapids, MN; daughter, Brook (Grant Zimmerman) Hanson of Grand Rapids, MN; mother, Maree Lange of Foley, MN; brother, Robert (Marcia) Lange of Waite Park, MN; sisters, Barbara (Gary) Riebel, Beth (Evans) Mbuka of Las Vegas, NV, Bonnie (Mark) Gadacz of Hillman, MN; four grandchildren, Lynden Partch, Lance Zimmerman, Ashleigh and Amelia Hanson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
