Arnold R. Rinell, 82, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota passed away in Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital on Friday December 14, 2012. Arnold was born in Eveleth, Minnesota in 1930 to Theodore and Laura Rinell. He served in the U.S. Navy 1948 to 1952. He married Margaret Johnson in Grand Rapids on May 13, 1960. Arnold worked for Minnesota Power for 34 years, retiring in 1991. He loved fishing and hunting and made many trips to Canada and Alaska to go moose hunting, duck hunting and fishing. Arnold was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, the American Legion, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 31. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving family includes his wife, Margaret; daughter, Belinda (John) Hilley of Casselberry, Florida; and one sister, Elaine Erickson, of Grand Rapids and nieces and nephews.
