Arlene B. King, 93 of Grand Rapids died February 13, 2023.

Arlene was born November 30, 1929 in Long Prairie, Minnesota to Arthur and Altea Bliese. She grew up the youngest of six children and graduated from the Long Prairie High School. Arlene married Larry King in January 1948 and they made their home in Grand Rapids.

Arlene worked for School District 318 for over 20 years. Before that, she was a telephone operator and worked at Hart Publications.

Arlene loved spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included reading, watching movies, and especially traveling. After retiring, Arlene and Larry enjoyed exploring the USA in their 5th wheel.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents; four sisters and one brother. Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Laurie Minerich, John King (Care), Patty Peterson (Bob), and Jayson King (Lyle); and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday, February 20, 2023, at Grace Bible Chapel, 2452 County Road 76, Grand Rapids, MN. Visitation at 10:00 AM with the service at 11:00 AM followed by a luncheon. Interment will be in Itasca Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
