Ardis Rae Caauwe, 65, of Warba, MN passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids, MN.

Ardis was born in 1954 in Duluth, MN to Emil and Frances Wang. She was raised on a farm North of Warba, MN, where she resided her whole life. Ardis met her husband, Ron, when they were 15 years old and were married June 8, 1974. She enjoyed her yard work and the outdoor time specifically in her flower gardens and large vegetable gardens every year. Ardis enjoyed working with the farm animals and hand making quilts.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Gloria Mehle; and a nephew, Ryan Johnson.

Ardis is survived by her husband, Ron; two daughters, Alesha (Dennis) German of Bovey, MN and Michelle Caauwe of Warba, MN; one sister, Valeria (Raymond) Johnson of Grand Rapids, MN; two grandchildren, Connor and Tanner German; two nieces, Debbie (Jim) Young and Tracey (Kevin) Roy all of Cohasset, MN; and one nephew, Curtis Johnson of Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN followed by the 1:00 P.M. Funeral Service at the funeral home. Rev. William Zeige will officiate. Burial will be at the Warba-Feeley Cemetery, Warba, MN.
