Archie E. Tobias, 70 of Warba, Mn. passed away on Tuesday Dec. 23, 2015 at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, Mn. He was born in Plainwell, Michigan to Lawrence and Marjorie (Roush) Tobias and had been a Blackberry and Warba resident since l97l. Archie was self-employed having started a construction company building houses, and then became a cabinetmaker and most recently, started crafting cremation urns. He was a member of Mary Immaculate Church in Coleraine, Mn. Archie was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Diane. He is survived by his wife, Kay of Warba, Mn; son, Todd (Sue) Tobias of Grand Rapids, Mn.; daughter, Teresa (Todd) Hagedorn of Virginia Beach, Va.; stepson, Shane (Terrie) Kruger of Ironton, Mn.; stepdaughters, Carrie Kruger of Grand Rapids, Mn. and Brenda Wiley of Wawina, Mn.; brothers, Bernard (Eleanor) Tobias and Larry (Betty) Tobias both of Delton, Mi.; stepbrother, Larry (Kathy) Berdick of Mi.; stepsisters, Sharon Verhest and Linda (Rollie) Ferris both of Mi.; l9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday Dec. 29, 2015 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 10 Corey Street, Coleraine, MN, 55722. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
