Andrew "Bud" Felix, 94, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Grand Itasca Hospital. He was born October 2, 1921 in Warba, MN to Andrew and Violet (Dahl) Felix. He married Maryann Austin on May 1, 1946 in Warba, MN. Bud is an Army Veteran of WWII having served in the 12th Armored Division known as the "Hellcats" and the 17th Service Company and was in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the American Legion Ponti-Peterson Post #432 and the VFW Post 1720. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lawrence Felix; and sisters, Margaret Rucks, Jean Grinde, and Delores Broking. Bud is survived by his wife, Maryann Felix of Grand Rapids, MN; children, Leona (David) Bernard of Grand Rapids, MN, Laura LaFrance of Grand Rapids, MN, Andrea Felix of Cohasset, MN, Clarence Felix of Grand Rapids, MN; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
