Albert "Ally" David Clark, Jr., 89, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. He was born March 8, 1929 in Bemidji, MN to Albert and Florence Clark. He started working at the age of 14 at Raboin Standard Oil Station pumping gas. He married Genevieve Joyce Gustin. Ally worked for 65 years in the oil business retiring with Deep Rock. He was a member of the Cass Lake Fire Dept. for 27 years, a mason for 61 years with the Masonic Lodge #233 of Bemidji and Masonic Lodge of Cass Lake; and also, a school board member. Ally was always fishing on Cass Lake and retired in Grand Rapids, MN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Clark; parents; Albert and Florence Clark, sisters Lois (Goss), Connie (Fuller); brother Dick Clark, son-in-law, Raymond Yanagawa and grandson, Aaron Trembath. Ally is survived by four daughters, Margo Yanagawa, Debbie (Nils) Vann, Jane (Tom) Trembath, and Shelley (Jack) Schramm; sister Muriel Muller, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
